Meg’s figurative paintings are featured in Robert Altman’s film Short Cuts. In 1996 she was commissioned to design the poster for the Semaine de la Critique section of the Cannes Film Festival.

Meg has received a MacDowell Colony fellowship. Her work is included in the book New American Paintings Volume 55 and she has been a featured artist in the Catskill Mountain Region Guide. Meg has also shown in numerous group and solo museum and gallery shows.

After eleven years as a digital artist in Hollywood, Meg has many film and commercial credits (aka Meg Freeman). Meg currently paints full time in the Hudson River Valley where she lives with her husband.
